A Teaspoon of Courage

If you're bored and looking for some hope, read this.

I was chillin' in my sister's room yesterday (a refreshingly new place to study for exams (which are now over (hurrah))) and I picked this book up off of her shelf.

Humans are made to face obstacles. When we sit around and do nothing, try to find the easy way out, it may work for the moment but what are we left with after that? I think the meaning of self perseverance and pride in all accomplishments is failing in this world. Or maybe it's just the monotonous high school life dragging everything out of me. Regardless, as I think about starting to close the huge, tragic, hilarious chapter of my life called "high school" I realize that out of all of my failures and black cloudy confusion, I am stronger each time I turn to hope. I knew that there had to be something more. I wanted to get there. But I didn't want to do the work. I still don't know what that is, but I think I'm going to find out. And I still don't want to work sometimes. But I think I'm improving.

I dunno. When I read the cheezy little book I actually started to take stock into real hope.

I've heard somewhere that perseverance produces character, and character--hope. And hope does not fail us. :)
