Silent Date

Today I went on a date. But neither of us wanted to. And it wasn't set up. I had a table all to myself at lunch to eat in silence. And I did. But some kid put his stuff at the table and we just sat across from each other and did not say a word. And you know what? I was totally ok with it. We had an understanding of each other. Neither of us felt the urge to do stupid forced small talk. We both knew that we didn't want to talk to each other. So we didn't. Refreshing.
